Today, 2 Tishrei, is the second of the Days of Awe.
Day 2: Pray that all Israel will see the truth about the melo hagoyim promised to Ephraim, and that the fullness of Gentiles will come into their fullness, or maturity. Pray that Ephraim will cease to be jealous of Judah, whether that jealousy is acted out in violence or in wishing they were Jewish. Pray that Ephraim will make Judah jealous rather than being jealous of Judah, which causes Ephraim to lose his effectiveness (Romans 9:25,26; 10:19; 11:11; Hosea 1:9,10; 2:23). Pray that Ephraim will learn to judge with righteous judgment, and that in their desire to be reunited with Judah they will not trade errant Christian ways for errant Jewish ways (Isaiah 11:13; Jeremiah 31:21-25; John 7:24).
