Today, 4 Tishrei, is the fourth of the Days of Awe.
Day 4: Pray that the sheep of Israel would be delivered from wicked shepherds who muddy the waters and feed themselves rather than the flock. Pray that the sheep be snatched out of the hands of shepherds who divide the flock of Israel. Pray that all wolves in sheep’s clothing and all false prophets be exposed for who they are in truth (Ezekiel 34; Jeremiah 23:1-3; Matthew 7:15). Pray that the spirit of Jezebel be rooted out from among us, that we stop lying and trying to steal the field of others, and that Israel’s prophets would not fear her. Pray that the spirit of Elijah might instead be fully released in our day. Pray that the hearts of the fathers might be turned to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Pray for godly families to be raised up in both the houses of Israel (1 Kings 21; Hosea 1:4-5; 2:22; Revelation 2:20-22; Malachi 4:5-6).
